Players of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 encounter the horrifying Tyranids as their opponent. These extraterrestrial beings generate problems for other factions battling for the Emperor in addition to the game’s protagonist, Titus, and his men. Dataslate #1

The first dataslate is in the early part of the mission, but you’ll need to battle through some Tyranids to get there. You will eventually reach a rooftop where you’re fighting uphill against some bigger Tyranids. This is where you’ll find the first clue that you’re in the right area.

You’ll need to use a control panel to activate a bridge. As soon as the bridge is complete, you’ll cross it and head left, but don’t go through the door just yet. Look for an opening on the left side of the corridor. Once you find it, go up to the rooftop, and there you’ll see the first dataslate waiting for you.

Dataslate #2

For the second dataslate, you’ll have to take a slightly hidden route. When the mission tells you to “Proceed to the Databanks,” you should actually go the opposite way. After you go right at the first bend in the road, you’ll come to a crossroads where you can either go left or right. Choose to go right.

Next, turn left just before a set of stairs, where you’ll see some candles nearby. Keep following the path to the right, and you’ll spot the second dataslate sitting beside the body of a fallen Adeptus Mechanicus warrior.

Dataslate #3

The third and last dataslate comes after a tough battle. First, you and your squad will have to defeat the giant Carnifex. After the monster is down, follow the mission’s path and get ready to fight another wave of Tyranids. After you beat them, you’ll continue down the path and up some stairs until you reach a locked door with a control panel. Use the panel, and this will trigger yet another attack from the Tyranids.

After this final fight, the previously locked door will open. But before you walk through it, take note of the final dataslate. It’s easy to miss, but it’s close by. Instead of turning left as you go through the door, keep walking straight ahead. The last dataslate is on the right side at the end of the corridor, so make sure to grab it before moving on.

Conclusion

It can be a great challenge to find all three dataslates in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s “Machinus Divinitus” quest. Many adversaries will need to be defeated, but if you are persistent and patient, you can finish your collection.
