In connection with their investigation into the rape and death of a female doctor, the CBI’s investigating officials are examining the call logs and conversations of Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
According to a central probe agency officer, Ghosh was questioned about his phone calls both before and after the hospital event when he appeared before the officers on Sunday for the third day in a row.
He said that the investigators are considering getting in touch with Ghosh’s mobile phone carrier to obtain information on his call and data usage.

As part of their investigation into the rape and killing of a female doctor, the CBI’s investigating investigators are reviewing the call logs and chat messages of Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
The accounts of the other medical professionals and interns who were working in the chest medicine department that evening with the victim’s physician will be compared to Ghosh’s responses by the CBI investigators.
To date, the CBI has interrogated more than twenty individuals in relation to its inquiry, including two Kolkata Police officials.
On Sunday night, after midnight, Ghosh left the CBI headquarters at the CGO Complex in Salt Lake without answering any questions from the media.
For over 13 hours on Saturday, Ghosh was interrogated by the CBI officers as part of their probe, having interrogated him on Friday.
Two days following the discovery of the woman’s body on August 9, the former principal had resigned from her position. Because of his expressed worries of being harmed, his lawyer applied to the Calcutta High Court for protection. He was instructed by the judge to approach a lone bench.

The former principal arrived at the CBI office at the CGO Complex in Salt Lake at 11 a.m. on Sunday after spending more than 13 hours being questioned by agency investigators from Saturday until after midnight.
“We have a list of questions for him,” the PTI-speaking Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) agent stated.
After learning of the doctor’s passing, Ghosh was asked to clarify his role, who he had contacted, and why he had made the parents wait for almost three hours.
After the event, the ex-principal was questioned about who had given the order to renovate the rooms next to the seminar hall at the hospital’s emergency facility.
“Our goal is to determine if the crime was preplanned or included a conspiracy. The officer asked, “What was the principal doing, and is he involved in any way with the incident?”
On August 9, the post-graduate trainee physician’s body was discovered in a seminar room at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. In this regard, police detained a community volunteer the following day. PTI SCH ACD
