There were opportunities to catch several mons with unusual backgrounds at all four events. But in reality, there were problems with GO Fest 2024: Global that kept some players from being able to get these unique Pokemon.
Pokemon GO Fest 2024 Payouts Will Differ Per Player
Early user claims that claimed special-background mons were unobtainable when utilizing Pokemon GO Remote Raid Passes were corroborated by Niantic’s study. Furthermore, it was discovered that the issue was exclusive to the first day of GO Fest 2024: Global, despite the developer’s lack of detail regarding the underlying source of the problem. The Pokemon GO developer has not yet provided a specific date on when it intends to pay out this reimbursement.
